Constructed in two parts the aluminum center provides weight savings while the specially formulated laser-cut 410 stainless-steel braking surface can handle high temperatures without warping.High performance disc allows the stainless steel outer to expand separately from the center to handle high temperatures without warping True floating design allows 1 degree of freedom so outer is always free to expand when subjected to heat CNC machined aluminum center is stiff and lightweight to offer the advantagesof a thicker fixed disc without the weight penalty Aluminum center acts as heat sink to keep disc temperatures lower for reliable braking Laser-cut and heat-treated 410 stainless steel braking surface provides increased life and oxidation prevention 1.8mm thickness (1.5mm minimum)
